Personally, this year has really been tough. I believe that that was the case for many people all around the world. And the reason for that is the COVID-19. However, with every problem comes a solution. Regarding the process of teaching and learning, many have came up with a lot of innovative ways to make use of technology in order to continue the process. As for myself, last year I finished my BA in education online and this year I'm studying to get my teaching diploma online as well. However, regarding teaching, this year has been my first year teaching at a school and as many schools we have been teaching both online and in the actual school. Honestly, I can say that it is very different from what we were used to but it's still a way. the outcomes haven't changed only the methods. As a result, that shouldn't stop up from fulfilling our dreams. For me, learning online this year has actually allowed me to teach at the moment for that particular reason. I can manage my time much better now at my one comfort. Even though, sometimes it might be hard and stressful but to be honest, nothing that is really worth it is ever easy in life. As for teaching my students, I feel like I have gained a lot of information, methods, and even new tools that have been extremely beneficial this year. For sure, students have felt the difference; however, it all comes to integrating technology properly and creatively. By doing so, they get the feeling that a virtual class is not that different from the traditional one. Some students even liked it more that the old way. Online teaching and learning is not a very new way as it has been here for a while. But the thing was that we didn't really all need it as bad as we need it today because of the pandemic that we all know so well by now. In short, personally, I have enjoyed this process so far for many reasons, but still I believe that many people prefer the old way. As humans, we don't accept change that well and easily.
